EDEN ON EARTH
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weeds and bushes covered everywhere,

Lizards and reptiles made all scare,

An haunted look did it bear,

The quarter's block allowed to share.

Words wrote straight gave the permit,

To clear the plot within my limit.

In heat and rain did I toil,

To turn hard earth into soft soil.

Flowers of colours I arrayed in front,

Included Blue lotus arousing stunt.

Orchids, aunthurium, and Bougainville swayed,

Beckoned the passer-bys; their glimpses stayed.

Fruit trees and vegetables shrubs at back,

Produced quick yield of different pack.

Faithful friends - do anyone lack?

Plant some saplings to fill the gap.

Tales of Eden not a myth,

I found that here and cherish with-

joy that gush and flow in bount;

Soaring ripples of glee - I lost count.

Not mere friends but also foes,

Noticed my Eden, sowed seeds in rows.

Little deeds of merit, set forth for others

Makes many happy, moulds Eden thus.
