Muslim Marriages
Marriage is a true relationship between two different souls that is male and female, and this relationship should be just for the sake of Allah. Marriage is an extremely beautiful relationship created by God and even Prophets (Peace and Blessings upon Them and Their Family) has undergone this procedure of marriage. It becomes a boon, happy and prosperous when both the souls have common understandings in all matters. Quarrels and conflicts arise when we have difference over certain minor issues which can be solved and resolved by peaceful means. Generally hard or manual work is being done by male so psychologically he is bond to have little anger and frustration after a hectic day of work. So it is the responsibility of female to care and look after her to relax his mind. If not than the husband would fear to go home by knowing the fact that again he has to bear his wife followed by unending comments. So such things should not happen and both should look after each other. The relationship lies on love, care, respect and co-operation to each other. Both ought to protect each other's rights. Marriage is not just the name of enjoyment but both have to look after each other as long as they are alive, also to nurture the generations to come from them.
Let's see what does Holy Quran and Hadith says about marriages
The Quran says: "And among His Signs is this that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts)" (30:21)
"They (your wives) are as a garment to you, and you are as a garment to them." (2:187)
"He it is Who created you from a single soul, and of the same did He make his spouse, that he might find comfort in her."(7:189).
The relationship between husband and wife is a spiritual relationship and sustains and generates love, kindness, mercy, compassion, mutual confidence, self-sacrifice, solace and succor.
Muslims can choose a spouse for many reasons but piety is considered the best reason. Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying, A woman may be married for four reasons: for her property, her status, her beauty and her religion; so try to get one who is religious,
