Invention History:

Now if we take the history of computers then we will realize that the invention of the computer was very interesting. Many inventors in the world contributed in making a complex piece of machinery, which is considered to be a separate invention today. We will look at a brief history of the computer here.

First freely programmable computer was invented by Konrad Zuse in 1936. Its name was Z1 computer. Then a new version was developed by John Atanasoff & Clifford Berry in 1942. They named this computer as ABC computer. Later in 1944 Hawad Aiken & Grace Hopper introduced Harvard Mark I Computer. ENIAC 1 Computer was released in 1949 by John Presper Eckert & John W. Mauchly. In 1948 Manchester Baby Computer & the Williams Tube computer was developed by Frederic Williams & Tom Kilburn.
In 1947/1948 John Bardeen, Walter Brattain & Wiliam Shockley invented "The transistor" this invention affected the history of computer greatly.

IBM entered the world of computers in 1953. They introduced the IBM 701 EDPM computer. In 1954 Fortan Computer programming was introduced by John Backus & IBM. Noyce. The first 'modern' computer was invented in 1958 by Steve Russell & MIT.
Then in 1955 Stanford Research Institute, Bank of America, and General Electric introduced ERMA and MICR. This was the first computer used by the bank industry for their check reading. In 1958 the integrated Circuit was designed by Jack Kilby & Robert
First Microprocessor was then introduced by the Faggin,Hoff & Mazor. This microprocessor chip was named as Intel 4004 Computer Microprocessor. Later on after the after the release of Windows, computer became a more useful machine with the graphical user interface. Now technology is being upgraded on a daily basis.
